Might just make this a monthly thing, not as if I'm itching to write or you're itching to read.
Anywho, summer is going very well so far. Probably why this blog hasn't received much love at all.
Going to see Inception again tomorrow with two very good friends, so that should be awesome. If you've not already gone to see the best movie of the year so far, make sure you do - there's a reason there's a lot of fuss about this one.
Hell, probably better than going to see the A-Team movie anyhow.
Comic-Con has come and gone with rather large fanfare surrounding certain movies such as the upcoming Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (which might well edge out Toy Story 3 as my second favourite movie of the year, depending on how good it really is). Got faith in Edgar Wright and Mr. Cera though, neither have failed to entertain me yet. Also interested to see more of Brandon Routh's character, as he's currently making up for Superman Returns with some pretty damn good acting in the latest series of Chuck.
Avengers/Thor and Captain America certainly seemed to come out on top mainstream superhero movie wise, with Green Lantern not following too far behind. I'm also intrigued by dark horses such as Jon Favreau's Cowboys & Aliens. A movie featuring a showdown between Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford - colour me excited.
Alright, that's enough geekery for the post. Got my haircut today, which is fast becoming one of my favourite things in the world to do. Just always feels quite theraputic in a way. Odd? Yes. Do I care? Hell no.
Looking forward to my trip to Italy next week. Can't be bothered to go into details here, those who care can ask me. But basically it means I'll be seeing a lot of good friends I made last year, having lots of fun in the sun and hopefully coming back with at least a semblance of a tan.
Think that's it really, so hopefully the internets will have a whole month before I can be bothered to fill it with useless prose again!
Ciao for now.

LET'S TALK ABOUT EVERYTHING
So blog... It's been a while. Hope you've been keeping well. The place is quite tidy. Nice job. Think I'll take the keys back now.
Anywho...
Tons of crap to dispell here, so this might be a lengthy one.
Let's get the shameless plug out of the way first?
My sister and I do a weekly podcast which is occasionally pretty funny. Give it a listen. People reading this blog probably have enough spare time to do so. It's called What Up! and you can find it at http://www.wum.mypodcast.com/ , http://whatup-medforth.podomatic.com/ or on iTunes!
If you like it (or don't!) feel free to comment with any constructive criticism or stuff you want more of!
Next up, exams! They are officially over, and were definitely one of the reasons why I've been so crap at blogging. Here's a quick rundown of how I feel they went in the order I took them.
Drama - The one I was most worried about which sort of turned out ok. Aside from the first three questions. They sucked.
English - Least worried about this one, but it has the nastiest questions. Still think I did good though as once I knew what I wanted to do I didn't struggle.
History - Exam that I had revised the least for which turned out to be the most enjoyable. Might've been because it was my last, but the questions were also perfect and I managed to write loads. Just hope it wasn't all crap.
And now exams are over, I have a wonderfully free summer ahead of me - Hell. Yes.
That might also mean you get a few more blog posts (from time to time ;)
Next. Doctor Who. I won't go on about this, as I know of at least two people who'll have already picked apart and raved about the best parts of the finale in their own blogs. Then there's the rest of the internet...
I'll just tell you this. Before this series, I really didn't like Doctor Who much. I could somewhat see the appeal in the Doctor's adventures, but I personally felt that the way the BBC was executing it was marred by poor special effects and even poorer writing. The trailer for the new series with Matt Smith as the Doctor actually intrigued me. Ever since 'The Eleventh Hour' (the first episode of the latest series) I've been hooked and it has fast become one of my favourite TV shows. I just want to congratulate Steven Moffat, Matt Smith, Karen Gillan - who is smokin' by the way - and all others involved in the creation of these past 13 episodes on a damn near flawless season of television. I cannot wait to see where they go next with it.
Ok. That's all for now, but I have ideas for some more blog posts brewing already, so get ready for what will hopefully be a blinding summer, with the occasional mundane blog post from me documenting the (probably) boring stuff I'll be doing.

Nearly two months...
I would apologise, but I doubt anyone who even glances at this blog cares enough to be bothered whether I post or not lol.
My sister and I started a podcast recently. We mostly bullshit about random stuff, and it doesn't seem to be too badly received so far.
You can listen and download it from http://whatup-medforth.podomatic.com/ and http://www.wum.mypodcast.com/ (the website that rarely works). You can also grab it on itunes.
If you've got any comments, let us know and we might even throw you a shout out on the show.
Exams impending, so of course most of my time is seemingly being spent procrastinating. I made a fairly good start on revision last week, but as of today, kinda slowing up a little - hence the post really.
Most everything else is good. Failed my second driving test, but I've got a few things to look forward to - Lady Gaga on sunday and of course half term next week. Hoping to enjoy myself a little amidst what revision I do get done.
In the meantime, best of luck to all those who do have exams. Those who don't - count yourselves lucky!

Blog, it's been far too long...
Can't quite believe its been a month, but I guess it has...
So, on with the show.
Uni choices have gone through. Loughborough as firm and Kent as insurance. For those who don't understand any of that, look it up.
That means I have to get on with ugly things such as student finance, which should be all kinds of fun...
Other ugly things include History coursework, which really shouldn't have been put off, but moving back home (we rented a house elsewhere for almost a year whilst some SLOW renovation works took place) has caused all sorts of chaos, meaning I've also got all manner of boxes around my room that still require unpacking.
However, the ugliest of all has to be this strange depression of sorts that has crept up on me since Thursday night. No idea as to the real reason behind it yet, but I'm sure there's a plethora of things that have contributed to it.
Ah well, maybe they'll get dissected on this very blog if I actually manage to get some work done...
Hope all you out there in the world of the internets have a happier Easter than the one I'm having at the moment!

So...
Think I probably pissed off the admissions officer at UEA today by telling them that I'm not actually going to go to their audition day tomorrow.
Good job I don't want to go there really.
In other news, lots and lots of school work. A levels are such fun...

Three Awesome Things
1. The aforementioned party I went to last night. Great music provided by a nice combo of band/DJ along with fantastic company. Met some lovely new people as well as enjoying it with the stalwart party animals. Drinks were a little overpriced, but it could've been a lot worse.
2. McDonald's Drive Thru at 1 in the morning. Minus Car. Yup, two friends and I queued up behind the cars in a civilised manner and did what none of us thought possible. Ordered at the drive thru without a car. The magnificence of that moment made the double cheeseburger I had taste even better :D
3. LOVE by Angels & Airwaves. This was one of the things that really made my Valentine's Day. I won't go into a full scale rave review hear, but if you've liked what they've done in the past, you should really enjoy this. For those who don't or aren't aware of the band, give it a shot anyways - it won't cost you a penny. Here's where you can download it:
http://modlife.com/angelsandairwaves/love
And if you don't like it, pass it along to someone else who might!
If procrastination prevails today, you can probably look forward to another post, if not, I'll be sure to update it at least once more this week. Maybe there's hope for this blog after all...

Happy Valentine's Day!
Yeah the blog's neglected, yada yada yada- you all knew that already.
In recent events...
A2 Drama exam went very well - no problems there.
Think I'm almost decided about which University I want to go to - lots of weight off my shoulders once that's sorted.
It's half term, which means hopefully lots of fun amidst coursework for Drama, English and History!
After 18 years of, shall we say, less than satisfactory Valentine's Days, I realised something. Sure, it's a day for those in happy relationships to celebrate what they've got and I've no problem with that at all (more power to 'em!)
The problem I have is this stigma that it's a day on which single people should be pissed off/depressed about/using it as a reason to complain against those who aren't single.
I for one have had a fantastic day which should get even better with a party I'm off to later. This is all in spite of what the majority of single people would have you believe I'm (and all other singles for that matter) capable of.
There's nothing wrong with being single and I don't see why there should be. If you want to have fun on Valentine's - go do it! If you want to do nothing but lie in bed all day and eat whilst watching movies - do that too! Hell, if you want to tell someone how you really feel about them, you can do that as well. Just like you can on every other day of the year.
I know it's not always that easy, but that's life for ya, and I am planning to try and enjoy each and every subsequent Valentine's Day, no matter whether I'm single or not.
Alright, time for me to stop ranting and get off to this party!
Hope you've all had a great day :)

Enjoyment > Disappointment
I've never really liked Argos. I like the (near) certainty of online shopping or actually seeing what you want on the shelf.
A code in a catalogue gives you nothing, as it did to me today. I rushed after work to see if they'd have what I wanted in stock. The computer I personally punched the number into said they did. I eagerly took the number to the counter to confirm this. No dice.
Thankfully I wasn't too certain that I actually wanted the item in question (a Transformer only just released here in the UK - Yes, I'm a geek). But still...
Anywho, mini rant over.
Work was finally a little more interesting today. Managed to make some progress in the last book I need to read for English - 1984 by George Orwell. After the slog of Frankenstein, it's a welcome relief.
Going out a little later on, which I can't wait for. Perfect chance to put all the rubbish of this week behind me (hopefully without a hangover in the morning!)
Make sure you all make the most of your weekends!

Short and Sweet
Not a lot to write home about really...
Failed my driving test, there's been some drama in drama (but everything should be ok).
University of Essex didn't really blow me away, but at least that's one I can kind of cross off in terms of my choices.
Parent's Evening tomorrow. Should be fun... - spot the sarcasm in that sentence.
Think that might be my shortest post ever. If so, yay me!
Stay classy people.

Let's rock it.
Motivation.
That's the name of the game for me at the moment. If I have it, I am generally in a good place. If I don't, then things tend to not go so well.
Prime example, my history retake exam this week. Honestly, I didn't revise nearly as much as I should've, so it kind've kicked my butt. No point moaning about it, just gotta make sure I work hard as in the rest of history this year.
I'm also getting quite pumped for my driving test now. All I can really do is try my best, since I doubt I'll ever be in a place where I'm truly 'ready' for it. There's just too many uncontrollable things about it. I'll let you know if I'll be able to offer you all lifts of course...
Going out for the first time in a while tomorrow night - should be a laugh.
As always, if you expect that I've posted, wait a day or two longer and you may be in luck.

Aww, poor blog...
Time to give this neglected blog some love.
New Year, new start. Or at least, that's what I'm hoping for. Got a lot of things ahead of me and I'm gonna have to work hard for most of them.
Driving test on January 18th - wish me luck people.
I'm not the kind to really make 'resolutions' as such. But like all of you I'm sure, I've definitely got things I want to change and take control of this year.
Not much more to say really, aside from the fact the work is piling up, as are the frustration levels due to the fact I can't tell the one person I like the most at the moment just that - ah well, the joys of being a teenager.
Catch ya next time folks (whenever the hell that'll be...)
