I kind of fail at this blogging thing.
But you already knew that...
So, Christmas was much better than expected. Had a lovely day with the family, ate too much, got lots of nice presents and all that. I hope you all enjoyed yourselves too.
Sadly all this Christmas business has meant I've done little to no work. Planning to sort that tomorrow. See how that goes :/
Had a very productive drama rehearsal with my awesome A2 Drama group today. Got another one on Thursday, hopefully we'll do just as much work, if not more.
Very much looking forward to New Year's Eve this year. Going to a 90s themed party, so me and two friends are dressing up as Batman, Robin and the Joker. My Batman costume should be arriving tomorrow - so can't wait for that :D
Not much else really. Going out for a curry tomorrow night with some mates I haven't seen since they went to uni, so that should be good.
I would say I'll try and post more frequently, but I think we all know from the pattern this blog is creating, that probably won't happen...
If I do post tomorrow it'll either be because my Batman costume hasn't arrived and I'll be pissed off, or I'll have failed miserably to do any of my school work.
I shall leave you on the edges of your seats...

A is for Awesome
Before we start, no, this is not the first in a series of 26 alphabetised posts. I may be classed as a geek on occasion, but I'm not that sad thankfully.
Today I have done three things. I went to church for the first time in a long while. As well as getting to see some friends who've just got back from Uni for the holidays, it was quite refreshing if I'm honest. Been a long while since I've formally got in touch with the good Lord and I'm sure he appreciated knowing he hasn't lost me yet. I won't go on about it as I'm sure noone (religious or not) really cares.
This was swiftly followed by a trip to the cinema. I saw Avatar. Those who know about it - forgot any skepticisms and see it. Those who don't - see it as well. It is everything people are praising it for and I won't do it any injustices by trying to describe it here. In short, it is the best cinema going experience I've had in years. You'll surely regret it if you don't catch this one in theatres folks.
I also have begun wrapping Christmas presents since my family are conveniently out for the evening. Not much to write home about, aside from the fact I hope Amazon delivers the last of my orders on time, otherwise there'll be at least one unhappy person in the house on Christmas morn. I used to absolutely suck at wrapping gifts, but I am getting a lot better.
Got quite an empty day tomorrow aside from the evening, so I might well throw in a post if I get the chance.
So yeah...
Night all.

A bite of procrastination...
... before returning to work on an english essay.
Just thought I'd let all you cats (the two people who may or may not be reading this) that I now have replies from four of my five university choices. Loughborough hit me with my highest offer so far. Now I'm just waiting to hear from Sussex. So some reassuring awesome there.
Some of the Christmas presents I've ordered for various family members have arrived today. I also went into town to try and buy some for those I haven't even thought about yet. Mostly unsuccessful. Think I'll spend my lunch break on Saturday doing much the same.
In other news, we had our first hints of a White Christmas at around 11ish today. Unfortunately its not been consistent and now I think it's mostly melted, leaving wet ground which will make it difficult for further snow to settle. As a result, I'm doubting we'll have school off tomorrow as was hoped by many, but you never know...
That's all folks, make sure you tune in next time!

Boo yah.
Let's hope I'm not setting a trend here...
Been a rather busy week since my last post, with the aforementioned school production and all, so here's a recap.
Hairspray was fantastic - one of the best shows I've been in for a long time. Can't say enough good things about it. Just ask if you want me to ramble on a bit more about it lol.
Great after show party on Friday at my friend Becca's HUGE house. Slightly surreal drinking with some of the teaching staff, but fun nonetheless. Drank far too much and paid for it with a hangover the next morning when I had work.
That day sadly saw me break my then four month strong abstinence from fizzy drinks (my hangover cure is regular coke with a pinch of salt - not as disgusting as it sounds). I wish I could have continued it longer, but I doubt I would've lasted the day at work without the refreshment of that coke. Definitely shouldn't be drinking that much for a while.
Did sweet FA on saturday evening and sunday. I was invited to a fairly spontaneous party on saturday, but was pretty tired, so didn't bother. Should have probably done some work, but as we learnt last week - major procrastinator right here.
Erm, not a whole lot else really. Got an interview at UEA to go with my offer from Kent, as well as a workshop day invite from Essex, so that's three down, two to go now. Here's hoping they all turn to offers at some point.
And of course, only 11 days til Christmas now. I'm sure I'll find the time to fit in a post or two before then. In the meantime, hope you all enjoy either the mad rush to buy all your presents for people or the tranquil Christmas countdown cause you've already got em.
Stay classy.
EDIT: This was meant to be called Boo yah because I was going to talk about how things are going really well for me. Dunno if that comes across since I kind of forgot about it when I started writing. Ah well, see what you think.

Ho hum...
Woah...
Talk about deja vu. I started a blog way back in 2006 as an outlet for my creative writing I used to do (I know, not the most creative of things...). Those posts were few and absolutely mahoosive, so I've decided to start anew and hopefully cut down on the blather. This is not least due to the fact that a lot of my friend's are now blogging. I would shamelessly plug them here, but I'm sure I'll do enough of that in future posts.
I've also changed a lot since my other blog, so I think it'll be good to start afresh. That and I'm a sucker for procrastination - I'm meant to be writing two essays right now... So that's obviously going well.
Let's see, other things in my life...
Hairspray! Today is the opening night of the school musical, most probably my last one as a cast member. I'm playing Corny Collins, which I'm not ashamed to say is THE part for me. For those who don't know, I'm one of the most loud and hyper people you will ever meet. I've been really enjoying it so far, and aside from the nerves I'll get before I go on, I can't wait.
Not a lot else aside from Uni and school stuff (got one offer already from Kent) - I've applied to do Drama and English.
Oh, and a funny/sad anecdote for some of my readers: my new guilty pleasure is Fall Out Boy - I have recently fallen back in love with nearly ALL of their material. Their latest is surprisingly good...
Anyhow. If you don't know enough about me from all that, then sit back, relax, help yourself to anything from the fridge and wait for my next post.
